Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy is the application of nutritional science in the promotion of health and the prevention of disease. Nutritional therapists use a wide range of tools to assess a client’s health state and to uncover the reasons why that person has become ill. They use nutrition as a basis to regain health usually with the addition of health supplements and/or other therapies.
Each nutritional therapist is individual in their approach depending on their own background, training and interests. Many now work alongside doctors but will always refer a client if necessary to a medical professional.
